Local Bins is free because of a few labelled local sponsors and Google banner ads. They follow these rules.
Where ads never appear
Ads never appear on bin night, during setup, next to where your dates come from, in privacy settings, or in help.

- Chosen by area and screen only. Never by your precise location, your advertising identifier or tracking across apps.
- We review every card before it runs.
- Hide or report a card from its menu.
Google ads
Google banner ads are requested as non-personalised ads. Local Bins turns off Google's publisher first-party identifier and does not request App Tracking Transparency permission. You can reopen your advertising privacy choices in You › Privacy choices.

No ads at all
Local Bins Plus (A$1 a month, A$10 a year or A$50 once) removes sponsor cards and Google ads. Everything that gets your bins out stays free.
