Tell it which bins you have, which night they go out, how often, and which one went out last week. Kerbside bins or an apartment bin room, out the night before or on the morning of collection. Change it any time in You › Places.

Reminders that fit your evening

  • The evening before, at a time you choose.
  • A bedtime check if the bins aren't out yet, which cancels itself once you slide.
  • Public holidays: the week before, it asks whether your collection moves, and moves your reminder to match.
  • Planned a few weeks ahead, so they still arrive on weeks you don't open the app.

Holidays can move collection. The app asks you the week before instead of guessing.

Bin night mode

From late afternoon, tonight's bins are the first thing you see. Slide when they're out.

  • The light, for dark driveways.
  • Ask someone, with the message written for you.

On your Lock Screen, Apple Watch and Home Screen

  • A bin-night Live Activity on the Lock Screen, with Mark out and Ask someone.
  • Widgets for the Home Screen and Lock Screen. They come in every size, and work in StandBy.
  • Bin night on the Lock Screen starts the Live Activity at your reminder time, even if you haven't opened the app.
  • Apple Watch: tonight's bins and Mark out, with a double tap.
  • Ask Siri: "Which bin goes out tonight in Local Bins", or tell it the bins are out.

See every collection by month or as a list. Tap a date to skip or move one collection. Add to Calendar keeps a Local Bins calendar on your iPhone up to date, or shares a calendar file.

With Local Bins Plus
