Your schedules, loaded
Residents will choose your council and skip the setup questions about bins, nights and weeks.
For councils
We're taking on our first councils now. A council subscription will load your bin schedules, so residents skip the setup questions, and bring your own guide, tips and drop-off points into the app.
Founding councils: council subscriptions and white-label apps are being built with our first councils. Neither is available yet.
Council subscription
Residents will choose your council and skip the setup questions about bins, nights and weeks.
What goes in each of your bins, beside the rules that are true everywhere.
Your tips, transfer stations and recycling centres, in the app residents open on bin night.
White label
A white-label app will be Local Bins under your council's own name, colours and icon, with the same reminders and bin night as Local Bins.
Local Bins works on every street in Australia today, without a council subscription.
Residents set up their bins without signing up for anything.
Schedules stay on residents' phones. The Lock Screen start sends only upcoming bin nights, with no address.
Optional features say what they send, and nothing follows residents across other apps.
Residents answer a few questions about their bins, and the app works out their dates.
A reminder the evening before, and a bedtime check if the bins aren't out yet.
With Local Bins Plus, residents can share one place's bin night with up to 6 people, through iCloud.
A starter guide to the rules that are true everywhere in Australia, with your council's guide having the final say.
Tonight's bins on the Lock Screen, the Home Screen and the wrist, with Mark out.
